Me and Hanna have been offered an installation exhibition in Oxford at West Ox Arts gallery (http://www.westoxarts.org), so of course we are grabbing the opportunity with both hands!

Whilst looking around for inspiration I found some beautiful examples of graphical 3d pieces as you can see above.

We are going to be building a screen printed, 3d piece of information graphics. What about you ask? Well you will just have to wait and see!

hand drawn patterns

I made this little thank you card for my grandparents today.

It's all been drawn straight onto the card by hand and I'm thinking that hand drawn patterns might be a bit of a winner as I really love the way that the pinstripes look every so slightly off and edges are a bit fuzzy. I think this could look really good with other well used patterns such as red and white polka dot or black and white checkers.

Is a pattern still a pattern drawn by hand as they images/ shapes will not accurately repeat themselves?
